Lac Leman reimagines the familiar lakeside scene through the fractured lens of a prism, with the distinctive colors of the lake merging with the surrounding shoreline, mountains, and sky. The fragmentation of the image evokes a sense of multiplicity, as if viewing the scene from countless perspectives at once– a layered interpretation of a view seen daily under different conditions and with differing emotions.
Acrylic on paper, folded into origami boxes, mounted on linen board, 40cm x 40 cm. 🔴
