This collection explores the potential of handcrafted pixels as an intersection of digital precision and organic expression. The meditative yet intentional work of crafting each square, box, or stitch imparts human intimacy; each element is then placed meticulously by hand, emphasizing the tension between control and spontaneity. By incorporating my on-site paintings and monotypes, I strive to imbue the work with a sense of place, attempting to capture the essence of natural environments by echoing their forms and colors. The works invite viewers to look closer, discovering hidden details within the simplicity of a pixelated grid structure, now so familiar to everyone in the digital age. By emphasizing both the granular and the expansive, we celebrate the beauty of both human-crafted detail and the vastness of the natural world. Through minimalism, we appreciate the meditative process of creation and the richness that can emerge from simplicity.
