About

I am a Filipino-American artist living and working primarily in Geneva, but also in Málaga and the Åland Islands. I was born in the Philippines, raised in the United States, and have lived abroad for the past 25 years. 

My art practice is heavily informed by my education and background in music and computer science: there are countless parallels between composing music and creating art, and the idea of a regular, consistent, and targeted art practice is identical to the requirements for mastery of a musical performance; from my engineering background, I take a rigorous process-driven, methodological approach to the physical creation of my artwork, with an eye towards efficiency and replicability. Most of my pieces demand meticulous handcrafting skills, which I have honed since childhood through the influence of my creative family. I pride myself on maintaining a constant focus on experimentation and expansion, extending artistic ideas as far as they can stretch.
